We provide American-made, built-to-order chicken coops with the highest quality and attention to detail.
Our mission is to
“empower Americans with self-sufficiency while making America’s backyards beautiful”
Rita Marie’s Chicken Coops is owned and operated by the Trask family. Simon and Cindy have been married since 2005 and are raising their 3 kids in Texas.
We named the business for Simon’s grandmother who grew up on a farm in western Ohio where she and her family harvested, prepared and ate fresh food every day. In addition to that, she lived near Indiana Amish country and she held that lifestyle in high regard, teaching her grand kids about the Amish way of life.
Because of this heritage and family connection to the Amish chicken coops we have to offer, in 2018 Simon and Cindy decided to rename the business (formerly “Large Chicken Coops” or “Large CC”) in Rita’s honor, to share her warm and welcoming spirit with the world. She was the best homemaker, a legendary cook in the family, and just plain sweet. We hope that her legacy lives on through our daily work at Rita Marie’s Chicken Coops providing Amish-built chicken coops so that you can eat farm-fresh food every day like Rita did.
